The Lodge
Designed for relaxed stays with family and friends, Deer’s Leap has four bedrooms and comfortably accommodates up to seven guests.
Warm, cosy and welcoming, the lodge has plenty of space to spend time together, with a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings and beautiful views across the Urr Estuary and surrounding countryside.
The well equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and air fryer, with a washing machine and tumble dryer also provided. Free Wi-Fi, smart TV and off-road parking for two cars are included.

Visit atmospheric Dundrennan Abbey, where Mary Queen of Scots spent her last hours in Scotland, explore the beautiful ruins of Sweetheart Abbey, or spend a day at magnificent Drumlanrig Castle with its internationally important art collection.

Just 15-20 minutes from Southerness Championship Links, Deer’s Leap is ideally placed for a golf break in South West Scotland.
Enjoy a round at Southerness, take in the beautiful scenery at Colvend Golf Club, or head to Craigieknowes in Kippford for a relaxed nine-hole par-3 round.
With more courses to discover across Dumfries & Galloway, there’s plenty of golf to enjoy, with time to explore and relax in between.

Deer’s Leap is set within naturally sloping grounds, with steps, changes in level and some uneven outdoor areas.
For this reason, we recommend the property for children aged eight and over, and guests who are comfortable with steps and uneven ground.
Deer’s Leap is pet-free, although assistance dogs may occasionally stay at the property.
